Our Mission

The Barrington High School Quarterback Club is a not for profit (501c3) corporation organized to support the entire BHS Football Program. This year between 150-160 players and 19 coaches will be on the field representing BHS Football at all levels: Varsity, Junior Varsity (Sophomore) and Freshman.

History

The Quarterback Club dates back to 1950 when it was established with two objectives; (1) to capture and build on the enthusiasm and interest in HS football and (2) to get the community behind our football program while building tradition. Over the years, the program has proven successful in accomplishing both objectives. The success is due to the continued participation and support from the football families and the community.

Today's QBC

Our objectives today are very consistent with the original club and also include raising much needed funds to support the program. Those funds have paid for player uniforms and equipment, additional required coaching support, and player amenities to name a few.

Our goals continue to be the following:

  • Raise awareness and support for BHS and its Football program
  • Raise required funds to support the entire BHS Football program
  • Increase Community and Family involvement surrounding a great team sport

Our goals continue to include planning and participation in making improvements that benefit our players and the program.

  • Player health & safety continues to be a priority at BHS. We will work with Football Staff to engage resources on initiatives and activities that will contribute to the safety, health, and well-being of our players.
  • Raise enough money to provide the required funding to support the program budget
  • Implement initiatives to improve the communications between the Football program and our players and families.
  • Provide for amenities and activities that support our players while participating in the program.
  • Continue planning, with BHS, major capital improvement projects that directly benefit the Football program.

We are the only booster club for the football program. There are no membership dues; all parents are members. We are looking for your participation and support. This includes lending your time as a volunteer to support our activities and initiatives, donating money, or both.

Please take this opportunity to get involved in the program. We need your help and support. There are numerous committees and projects that you can volunteer for. Join us and help make this year a memorable season for our players and their families.

Go Broncos!
